School Of Visual Arts
Expand your skill knowledge and experience with volunteer work at Artyka School of Visual Art.
We need creative, fun, out-going teens to help with our children’s programs year-round! Excellent job experience opportunity.
Volunteering builds character and confidence, and the stronger these are the greater your success in life will be. Build your confidence, compassion and knowledge by helping others. Volunteering ensures you are part of a creative movement towards building a stronger community and a better world. Our program gives you the opportunity to grow and open doors for yourself and those you help.
Student volunteers assist teachers that support our education programs. Typical activities include preparing materials for art projects, cleaning, photocopying, filing, and assisting during teacher programs.
Candidates for the High School Volunteer Program must be rising juniors or seniors with a mature, positive attitude and a strong work ethic. The schedule will vary weekly, based on the number of projects to be completed. Service hours will be documented and may be submitted for school-based community service credits.
